We arrived just before they opened at 11am on a Saturday lunchtime. Last time, when I came right after the store opened, there were about 10 people waiting, so I gave up and went home, but this time I was lucky because there were only 2 people waiting. You write your name and number of people on a board in front of the store and wait. The inside of the restaurant has a mountain hut-like appearance, and there are table seats right after you enter. There are counter seats in a separate room at the back of the store. The counter seats are U-shaped with a glass grill in the center. Is it charcoal grilled? The smoke is rising and it is very impressive. The meat will be cooked here. There is also terrace seating outside. On the menu, you can choose from chicken, pork, beef, or seafood ingredients. The basics will be soup curry. You can also add a salad or soup set. I also had lassi, but it was a little expensive so I decided against it this time. The spiciness varies from sweet to dry depending on the height, from Mt. Noge to Mt. Fuji, Everest, and Heaven. This time, I ordered the Alpenjiro chicken with Eiger, which is equivalent to medium spiciness. It will be a grilled chicken curry. It contains a lot of vegetables, including potatoes, carrots, green beans, eggplant, and pumpkin. Rice will be served in the promised rice bowl. Although it was not cooked in a rice cooker, it has an atmosphere. Shake it a few times first to combine the rice, then transfer it to a plate. To accompany the curry, Fukujinzuke and rakkyo are served in small bowls. Personally, I was happy with the rakkyo. Although it is a soup curry, it is not as spicy as traditional soup curries. It's quite mild. The spiciness is not that great considering it is medium spicy. However, as I continue to eat, I get a little sweaty, so the spices are effective. It feels like the presence of chicken is strong. If anything, I think it's a curry for enjoying meat. It's like a curry sauce for delicious meat. Prices range from 1,500 yen to 2,000 yen even without side menus, and there are also sirloin steaks. Some people come alone because they like curry, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, so I see a lot of couples going on dates or couples. It's not a cheap curry shop, so the customer service is good and I felt very comfortable. It turned out to be a wonderful lunch.

The beauty of the shop◯, the customer service◯, and the taste of the curry◯. The price is high, but it contains many thick pieces of meat, so I think it's worth the price considering the quality. The rice is served in a rice bowl, but since it wasn't burnt, I think the rice bowl is just used as a container. If I had to pick just one drawback, it would be that the amount of rice and curry was small. I had a large serving of rice, but I think it's not enough for people who eat a lot.

``Alpen Jiro Honten'' is a curry restaurant founded in 1985 (Showa 60), a 5-minute walk from Bandobashi Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line. It was originally started in 1971 (Showa 46) when people brought back curry from Alpen Jiro, a lodging lodge at the Oze Tokura ski resort. It's been a while since I last visited 12 years ago! I visited after lunch time on a weekend and entered the restaurant without waiting. I ordered the pork loin and lassi plain, and the spiciness at Everest. Speaking of Alpen Jiro, it's the rice in the rice bowl! When I opened the lid before putting it on the plate, there was no fried onion on top of the rice...? Apparently it was renewed during this 12-year hiatus? I tried to be more careful and added curry, but the curry made without wheat is very smooth. But the taste is strong! After all, Alpen Jiro's curry is this. The complex spiciness is also nice. I chose the higher level of spiciness, Everest (spicy?). It wasn't that spicy, but rather a refreshing spiciness that didn't leave you wanting. Not only the curry roux but also the ingredients are good. The vegetables that are included are also delicious! Personally, I think vegetables are more delicious than meat. The more I think. By the way, it is recommended to cut the pork loin steak in the curry, but the roux will splash out when you cut it lol. Fukujinzuke and rakkyo were still average. After eating Alpen Jiro's curry, I realized once again that this curry is more of a dish than a curry. Thank you for the meal.
